As you may have heard, the iSchool will be installing 500 square feet of whiteboard paint in public spaces around the school in early November. This is worth more than $2000 in paint!, and we’re really excited to use it to create common areas for collaboration, drawing and spontaneous ideas.

This also means we need a lot of whiteboard markers. I’ve posted a project on DonorsChoose.org, a site that allows public school educators to request supplies and receive funding from anyone who’s interested in contributing to their projects. I’ve posted this project on behalf of our school community; these markers will be used across the school by anyone who’d like to use them. Each whiteboard marker costs slightly more than $1 each, so if you’re able to contribute, please consider donating $1 for each marker you’d like to give. Every single marker will be used by dozens of students to think, brainstorm + express themselves creatively.
